inside my soul??

Inside the Room of Your Soul

What Your Soul Really Looks Like
You are a warm hearted and open minded person. It's easy for you to forgive and forget.

You are a very grounded, responsible, and realistic person. People may not want to hear the truth from you, but they're going to get it.

You believe that people see you as larger than life and important. While this is true, they also think you're a bit full of yourself.

Your near future is a lot like the present, and as far as you're concerned, that's a very good thing.

For you, love is all about caring and comfort. You couldn't fall in love with someone you didn't trust.

Rainbow Brite

today, i saw a rainbow on my way to the office. It was such a nice sight seeing wonderful colors on the sky.. As a kid , i was always fascinated by it , chasing it's end for the pot of gold with my tiny friends. Rainbows are happy manifestation that the world is beautiful!
Anyway, it always gives me a nostalgic feeling of childhood. You know why? It reminds me of my favorite cartoons!
Rainbow Brite...

this is Rainbow Brite with the most wonderful white horse in the universe> Starlite.
If you were born in the early 80's you would never miss this program, along with Captain Planet, She-ra (Princess of Powers), Care Bears, etc..Wahhh, i miss being 5...

Happy Birthday Mama!!!

Today is my mama's birthday. In reality she is already 61 yrs.old but since she was registered late, her official record is 59 yrs. old.
My mama is one of the most important person in my life. She is someone i always looked up to. I have gained much education, career and many more but i couldn't even come close to my mama's wisdom in life. She seems to know everything, like a superhero. How she could take care of us all and still has much energy to do much more! She had experienced alot in her life. But she is still brave and a source of comfort to us...
I knew many people of great minds but for sure i would still go home and consult my mama on matters i don't know. I only believe on what my mama says because she know me well enough not to impose on what she likes but on what should be.
I experienced real love from my mama. That no matter how bad, how ugly, how rude, how crazy i may become , I have a mama who i can curled up in bed at the end of the day.No explanation needed.
I LOVE MY MAMA EVERYDAY!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

where is home?

her stained face peep into that crowded place
distant and obscure, yet wild and loud
too familiar to remember...

always when she walks, there's a magic maze in front
luring her to where she'd been before
and Vu got lost again and again...

Savage Garden

i had always been a follower of the 90's pop rock culture and if you're as jologs as me then you wouldn't happen to miss Savage Garden..one of the most successful band from Australia to cross over UK and US market....why am i talking about them? coz their songs are all over me now... hehe.. Here's some of my fave songs with my fave songs

1. The Lover after me..
Am I all alone in the universe?
There's no love on these streets
I have given mine away to a world that didn't want it anyway
So this is my new freedom
It's funny
I don't remember being chained

2. I don't know you anymore
Cause I don't know you anymore
I don't recognise this place
The picture frames have changed
And so has your name
We don't talk much anymore
We keep running from these sentences
But what I wouldn't give to see your face again

3. Truly, Madly, Deeply

4. Crash and Burn
Let me be the one you call
If you jump I'll break your fall
Lift you up and fly away with you into the night
If you need to fall apart
I can mend a broken heart
If you need to crash then crash and burn
You're not alone

5. Two beds and a coffee machine
Another ditch in the road
You keep moving
Another stop sign
You keep moving on
And the years go by so fast
Wonder how I ever made it through

6. You can still be free
Cool breeze and autumn leaves
Slow motion daylight
A lone pair of watchful eyes
Oversee the living
Feel the presence all around
A tortured soul
A wound unhealing
NO regrets or promises
The past is gone
But you can still be free
If time will set you free

tranquility....

When i think about nirvana, i always get transported to the place and life that i've always long to be.. mountain life... the simplicity of it all has a huge pull on me. In the mountain, you are connected with the earth, you til the land, you farm, you harvest and you eat...
In the morning, you wake up and see the grand design of what the natural world has to offer.. In the evening you rest as the day closes it's light.
In the mountain, people are non-conventional. They don't live for others, they don't conform with fads...they live to live. And happiness is seen in their smile...

nowadays, i feel that living in simplicity has become a tremendous want and yet the way to that path is too difficult to follow. Life has become complicated and the world is reinforcing its complexity.

smiley rainbow..

A dazzling arc of psychedelic colour reminiscent of the Cheshire Cat's grin in Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland.

But this is no fantasy or trick of the light, it is known as a circumzenithal arc. Seen here shimmering in the sky over Cambridge in the afternoon sunshine, it is often mistaken for a rainbow hanging upside down.
Rare: An astronomer caught this unusual upside-down rainbow on camera near her home in Cambridge

Rare: An astronomer caught this unusual upside-down rainbow on camera near her home in Cambridge

But unlike a rainbow, the sky has to be clear of rain and low level clouds for it to be seen.

Relatively rare in Britain, the arc only appears when sunlight shines at a specific angle through a thin veil of wispy clouds at a height of around 20,000 to 25,000 feet.

At this altitude the cirrus clouds are made of ice crystals, the size of grains of salt.

Meteorologists say the clouds must be convex to the sun with the ice particles lined up together in the right direction to refract the light.

This results in the sunlight bouncing off the ice crystals high in the atmosphere, sending the light rays back up and bending the sunlight like a glass prism into a spectrum of colour.
Rainbows are formed when sunlight is refracted in a raindrop.

But in a circumzenithal arc, the colours are in reverse order from a rainbow, with violet on the top and red at the bottom.

The arc usually vanishes quickly because the cirrus clouds containing the ice crystals shift their position.

Ice particles in high cirrus clouds occur all year round, but circumzenithal arcs are usually obscured by lower level clouds.

Circumzenithal arcs are so named as they go around the zenith - the point in the sky directly above the observer- rather than the sun.

the ride of your life: who's driving?

Nothing is at last sacred but the integrity of your own mind. Absolve you to yourself, and you shall have the suffrage of the world
- ralph waldo emerson

What I must do is all that concerns me, not what the people think. This rule, equally arduous in actual and in intellectual life, may serve for the whole distinction between greatness and meanness. It is the harder, because you will always find those who think they know what is your duty better than you know it. It is easy in the world to live after the world's opinion; it is easy in solitude to live after our own; but the great man is he who in the midst of the crowd keeps with perfect sweetness the independence of solitude.

burgers that kill the pocket.....

see this ? this is the world's most expensive burger so far at a whooping $200>>convert it to Peso, it's almost P8500! Crazy! how could something so perishable be so expensive!! " The Burger" is a special treat from Burger King served only in London once a week...

The burger is made of fine ingredients include Wagyu beef, white truffles, Pata Negra ham slices, Cristal onion straws, Modena balsamic vinegar, lambs lettuce, pink Himalayan rock salt, organic white wine and shallot infused mayonnaise in an Iranian saffron and white truffle dusted bun...

Philippine version

the Wagyu burger found in Manny O's resto in Hilton Hotel in Cebu cost around $35..way cheaper than "The Burger" but still too expensive for the Filipino wallet....

absolute foolishness

A person calls on me from his closed car window,
Desperately wanting to be heard
But he looks just as foolish as he is desperate
His voice echoes from the confines,
only his ear could hear him….

ambivalence...

A typical feature of love is its ambivalent nature which sometimes is manifested in hurting the one we love. This consideration indicates how easily we may hurt our beloved without intending to do so.

Love is to make oneself vulnerable in ways that enhance the possibilities of pain.

I love and yet i also hurt.
The worst part is when you did it with person you love the most...

i love you kevs!!

that old song..

Guess there are times when we all need to share a little pain
And ironing out the rough spots
Is the hardest part when memories remain
And it's times like these when we all need to hear the radio
`Cause from the lips of some old singer
We can share the troubles we already know

Old Tjikko- World's oldest tree

This 9,550 year old spruce has been discovered in Dalarna, Sweden. A favourable climate has produced an upright trunk since the beginning of the 1940s.

The world’s oldest living tree has been found in Sweden, along with remnants of several other generations of it. A ripe 9,550 years old, this special spruce tree in Fulu Mountain, Dalarna, has profound implications for climate change.

The tree is single-stemmed and stands 5 meters — about 16.4 feet – tall. Researchers at Ume University found decaying wood remnants in the soil that date back 375, 5,660, 9,000 and 9550 years, representing generations of the same genetic individual.

For thousands of years, the spruce appeared in a shrub formation called krummholz. But with warming in the last century, the tree changed its growth and became the single-stem spruce seen in this photo.

“The fact that we can see this spruce as a tree today is a consequence of recent climate warming since about 1915,” said Leif Kullman, Professor of Physical Geography at Ume University.

Kullman and colleagues study how tree lines, or the edges of tree habitats, respond to climate change. They have shown that trees of different species have advanced into the alpine tundra by more than 650 feet during the past century, Kullman said, suggesting that there is less tundra area than there has been for 7,000 years.

“As we see it, that is the most interesting aspect of this and similar trees,” he said. “That this may also be the oldest tree in the world is more of a curiosity from a scientific point of view.”

who matters...

When we honestly ask ourselves which person in our lives means the most us, we often find that it is those who can be silent with us in a moment confusion, who can tolerate not knowing, not curing, not healing and face with us the reality of our powerlessness, that is a person who cares..

minds' floating....

Have patience with everything that remains unsolved in your heart. Try to love the questions themselves, like locked rooms and like books written in a foreign language. Do not now look for the answers. They cannot now be given to you because you could not live them. It is a question of experiencing everything. At present you need to live the question. Perhaps you will gradually, without even noticing it, find yourself experiencing the answer, some distant day.

hippie happie meee..

As I look at my self, one of the most constant and potent thing I experienced is the enormous drive to work, to do something…And yet I don’t have a desire to succeed… there were many opportunities I turned down for very trivial reasons… Why? I love comfort.. and for as long as I am happy then i can go unchanged….
Being happy is a choice we make… Knowing what makes us happy is also something we must figure out with our selves. And sticking to it is another challenge…
I don’t like challenges… hahahha… why? Because if I get challenged, I don’t give in until I finally satisfy my self.. So, to do some favor to my frail body.. I don’t entertain much challenge… A hippie point of view eh? Hahaha..

I don’t stick to bad situations either.. Some people say," don’t avoid conflict, face it"…Not me.. I don’t intentionally hurt people, so why let other people hurt me? I won’t suffer for something I don’t deserve….

And I don’t push hard...an unwilling person … is a boring one.. so why waste my time? Self-motivation is something we can’t teach , it is an inner drive to do at your own will.
Well going back to happiness...
It is enjoying of all that is, has been, will be and will not be...

individual differences....

You want to do something nice for another person. You think: "I like this myself . I would like it if somebody did this for me. So I will do this for them." It is a gift from you to them. A gift you would like receiving yourself. And you feel good about it.

But what if the other person doesn't particularly like what you like. How much better it is if the gift is something the other person likes. Not only have you treated them kindly, you have also considered what they like, not just what you like.

Lets understand that other people may have the same feelings as you, but that other people aren't exactly like you. You must stand outside yourself and know that their world can be different from yours. And that their world isn't necessarily wrong and yours right....it is just different.

---life in indeed a bit complicated....

i wish...i made this...

i was searching just now.... and saw this wonderful painting... wahhhhhhhhh.. i wish i made this..

my scratch-paper version.... this one's playing cello

"The Scream "

-- i had written about this in my now dead blog....hahhahaha.. it always makes me laugh at my self when i see my self posing like " Scream" hahhaha see this?<<< i had loads of pics with this kind of pose.....

Anyway.....
The Scream (Skrik, 1893) is a seminal series of expressionist paintings by Norwegian artist Edvard Munch, depicting an agonized figure against a blood red skyline. It is said by some to symbolize the human species overwhelmed by an attack of existential angst.[1]
The Scream has been the target of several high-profile art thefts.
